Our Ezra was born in October of 2022 in the same Maternity ward that I have worked for the past 2 years at Tenwek Hospital… Kevin asked me to recall the event here on the blog to showcase the Tenwek Maternity process. I am writing this in the only way I know how to write these days, through dictation software.

Many Americans can identify with a particular experience in their foreign language classes in middle and high school. We spent most of those days in class groaning like an Israelite in the wilderness.
We made it to the end of 2020. Pretty amazing to look back and see what God has done. Check out our video of the last 4 months of 2020, including our transition out of the US and into Kenya. Exciting stuff!
Well, I got tired of posting and checking Facebook all the time, so I stopped posting individual slices for a while. Here are the leftover slices that never got posted.
We spent our first month and a half in Kenya (relatively) off of social media, making an effort to focus on our family’s transition. That was a very fruitful time for us
